MIMIC
| Mimic is set in America around the year 2075. The society in this world is a mix of humans, Animorphs, and supernatural beings. The story follows Blaze, the protagonist, an 18-year-old girl with bizarre abilities. Throughout the series, Blaze embarks on a journey of self-discovery and learns about the history of her species called 'The Mimic.' |
The Mimics were named after every civilization they interacted with and were described as having pale skin, long bodies, six slim eyes, big mouths, and a black hole in the middle of their stomach that could be stretched out.
In search of learning more about humanity and developing alliances to maintain peace, the mimics created groups that separated into different planets, much like Earth. However, every millennium, the mimic councils would gather to decide who would rule their society next.
In one such gathering, it came down to two female twin mimics (for now, we'll refer to them as Mimic Twin A and Mimic Twin B), who battled for the next seat of power. Mimic Twin A emerged victorious and was crowned the next ruler of the society, while Mimic Twin B became the ruler's assistant.
